It's been an interesting week for Apple news.

First, Australia and other countries found out they had to wait till late-May to purchase iPads.

Then Gizmodo reported on a possible 4th generation iPhone being found on the floor of a bar.

And finally, Apple has been doing pretty darn well financially lately.

Not bad for a company that was in the doldrums in most of the nineties.

Love Steve Jobs or hate him, you have to admit his time as CEO since 1998 has made a huge difference to the performance of the company. Whatever the tech critics said about the iPad when it was first announced, the first few weeks of U.S. sales have shown there's a huge market for a tablet computer when the right company finds a way to build and sell it.
